Icebreak is designed to work without accounts, profiles or a record of what happens in your group.

Current web app at a glance

No accounts. No advertising. No analytics SDK. No location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera access. Your selected packs are stored only in your browser.

What Icebreak stores on your device

The web app saves the pack choices you selected in browser local storage. This keeps your preferred packs selected when you return. The value contains pack identifiers only and is not sent to Icebreak.

A service worker and browser cache store the app files on your device so the core game can work offline after a successful first load. You can remove this data through your browser’s site-data controls or by uninstalling the web app.

What Icebreak does not collect

  • No name, email address or account details
  • No answers, votes, card history or group activity
  • No advertising identifiers or cross-site tracking
  • No precise or approximate location
  • No contacts, photos, microphone or camera data
  • No payment information in the current web app

Hosting and network records

Icebreak is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like other web infrastructure providers, Cloudflare may process standard network information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP addresses, request times, requested URLs and browser details. Icebreak does not use these records to create player profiles or track behaviour across websites.

Sharing

If you choose Share Icebreak, the app asks your device to open its native share sheet. The shared message includes the number of questions played and a link to Icebreak. Icebreak does not learn who you shared it with or which app you chose.

Analytics decision

Icebreak does not currently run Google Analytics or another product analytics service. A measurement plan exists for later testing, but tracking will not be enabled without a documented privacy decision and an updated version of this notice.

Children

Icebreak is intended for adults aged 18 to 35. The Spicy pack is marked 18+. The service is not designed to collect data from children, and the current product does not knowingly collect personal information from any player.

Changes

This notice will be updated before adding purchases, analytics or other features that materially change data handling. The effective date at the top will change when that happens.
